Camelot
Chess Pieces in Detail
This beautifully
detailed chess set is ideal if you have someone in the house who
is learning to play chess, as the pieces can't be confused.
The bishop could only be 'The Bishop' and the knight on horseback
couldn't be anyone other than 'The Knight'
It's one less thing for them to learn on the way to becoming a
chess master.

The King is 5" (13 cm) tall, the other pieces are show to the same scale.
Recommended
Chess Board
We
recommend a board with 2" (5 cm) squares for this chess set.
It will fit on a size smaller board - one with 1.6" (4.5
cm) squares, but the chess pieces almost touch one another, making
it awkward to pick them up and move them.
The next standard board up, has 2.5" (6.4 cm) squares and
these pieces look a bit lost on a board that big.

Tudor
Rose Chess Board
This is the chess board that we sell to go with the Camelot chess
set.
Each squares is 2" (5 cm). Giving an 18"(45.5 cm) square
board
It is a solid, red/brown, resin based board, approximated 1"
(2.5cm) thick, with a green felt base.
